History Channel :< Columbine reenactment

Was flipping thru the channels just got home and they are talking about columbine and they have 2 guys reenacting the whole thing with commentary .........

One of them had on a shirt that said Wrath and the other Natural Selection . I cant believe they are doing this..... its so messed up .... the acting is laughable ..... while I realize that its not anything to laughing about out but in my opinion the acting of these 2 guys is funny ...... its just something that should not have been done .. maybe im desensitized from all the violent games I play ..... its one thing to recreate something that happened digitally but come on this is outrageous.

Maybe because about 2 or 3 months ago thier was a string of about 2 or 3 shootings involving young teenagers and just this past monday a child died because of an arguement between 2 groups of teenagers over how pretty one group of girls were vs another group. Thats its messed up how our young children are becoming. What happened to the time when you got in a fight with someone (either they kicked your but or you kicked thiers) and after wards it was over and sometimes that person became your best friend. I just had to rant ...

Show was called Zero Hour :Massacare at Columbine

I just watched it... and as usual... it enraged me to tears. Not the showing of it, the fact that it happened.

There is so much that bothers me about the entire series of events... on every level of my being. There is no rage that I know, like my rage right now.

How do you do a "well-done" documentary about something as horrible as Columbine? If you capture the events as they happened, it will be incredible, offensive, and upsetting. Just like the events themselves.

There is just way too much in my head right now. I am without a doubt getting trashed tonight.

You should be pissed off. You shouldn't "cool down". It should have turned your heart and soul cold. You should feel sadness for the victims. Absolute deep-seated hatred for the soul-less mother ****ers who committed the atrocity. Remorse for their families, and the victims' families. And disbelief that "the perfect storm" managed to form without ANYONE doing ANYTHING to stop it.

Where the **** were our heroes that day?

I know where one was. Attending high school in Bath County, Virignia, wondering what he could have done if he had been there.

Some people can have conversations with each other during a documentary like that. Some can only talk during commercials. I'm neither of those. All I can do is clinch my fists, and feel that awful burn somewhere in my core. The burn that means I am powerless to fix something, and absolutely incapable of stopping the senseless pain of another.

I caught a little bit of it and I plan on watching the whole show once it replays again tonight. I see no problem with them doing this show. Whats the difference between this show and shows about the holocaust? Its an event in history and the whole point behind studying history is so we don't repeat the same mistakes twice, which we tend to do anyways.

I agree with overkill when he says these guys were assholes but I'm going to add the assholes that drove them to do this right next to them. I've seen other shows on the Columbine shootings dealing with the reasons behind it and some of the **** these kids did these two guys is horrible. I'm not sympathizing with what Klebold and Harris did but they were just like pressure cookers, sooner or later its gonna blow if you don't turn off the heat.

Being on the receiving end of some pretty bad harassment back in the day, I can understand some of the things going through their minds and I the harassment I received was no where near as severe as these two. I can't say I've ever had personal property destroyed due to **** like this. I eventually figured out how handle it and eventually got along with pretty all of my classmates (all 200 and something of them). This is where parenting comes into play. These guy's parents apparently didn't give two ****s about what their kids were doing or else they would've known something wasn't right.

Once again, I do not sympathize with these to jackasses but I can understand the **** they went through to bring them to this point. When your that age, the stupidest **** will enter your mind and most people would just drop the idea of doing this but these two didn't and now theres an assload of kids that had to go through seeing their friends and peers being shot and killed.

I also think this is a good argument for allowing teachers to carry in schools if they so choose. What if there was a teacher caring a gun when this happened? Would there have been lives saved or would the teacher who was carrying been shot and killed? We won't ever know but I believe that it could've saved some lives. Then again maybe not since a lot of these kids that turn to shooting schools up anymore just kill themselves before its over anyways. It would could just be an easy way for some dumbass kid to end it all and take a few with him in the process.

Either way, these two kids were pussy's that couldn't just shoot themselves and leave everyone else alone.

Relax guy's it's all about TV ratings. In TV land nothing else matters. They use whatever and whoever for the ratings. Even if they have to fake the story.

I am an '81 graduate of Columbine!
We used to bring shotguns to school back then too....but we were going rabbit hunting after school with them, not planning on a friggin' rampage.

I am not sure if Columbine is any different than any other high school, but I can say that there were some pretty hard core clicks there...of couse, back in 81, there were no goth's...but the freaks, jocks, hicks, geeks, and preps were very divided. Weird for a small (back then, before it was expanded) suburban school in my opinion. FYI, I was a freak back in the day...long hair, always in a camo army jacket, etc. The freaks and jocks fought the most...usually a major clash every couple weeks, but we always showed up with fists and feet...maybe a lacrosse stick every now and then. I can't imagine being so abused that I would want to come to school and start blasting folks to death...

Those two kids were quite f'ed up and obviously had no back bone. I am so friggin' sick and tired of people blaming other people for their actions....stand up people, take charge of your own life! AND!, where in the HELL were the parents through all of this? I cannot imagine living in the same home with anyone and not have any clue what so ever that they were building an arsenal and a plan to do what they did!

I am with everyone else who is angered beyond recognition regarding this , and others like it, situation...our heros did let us down that day...and gun control laws would not have helped in any way whatsoever...and the NRA certainly was not involved...

(Rant over...phew)

I found nothing but a pathetic documentary that looks like it basically was written by the liberal media. Suprisingly enough though, they didn't focus on the types of weapons they were using. I thought before watching it they'd continue to dwell on "assault rifles such as the Tec-9" (duh its not)

How do you figure it was written by the "liberal media"? There was nothing against guns in it that I saw. I guess you think anytime some one talks about Columbine they're instantly liberals out to get your guns.
