Negotiate at Turners?

Hey guys, anybody know if Turners Outdoorsman will negotiate on prices for used or consignment guns? There's a consignment shotgun I am interested in but want to see if others have success at getting the prices down. Thanks.

I can't help you there as I have only bought new weapons from them. I'm posting just out of curiosity as to which Turners you are going to as I'm always interested in finding a member close to me in order to go shooting together.

If you would prefer not to answer, that is ok and no offense taken.

I wish you good luck in any case.

BUMP...I really hope someone knows because I am going tomorrow!

And I usually go to the San Bernadino Tuners...live up in the high desert now.

Consignment- maybe, as they might talk to the person who has it up.
Only traction I've ever gotten there was getting something the day after a sale on sale price.
They give the 'were a corporation and the computer won't let me' blah blah...
On higher ticket (and some lower as well) items you are often better off with a good FFL if their rates are good.

"Everything of value is negotiable"

The clerk behind the counter may not be authorized to cut you a better deal, but ask "is that the best you can do for price, it's just above my budget?". If he says no, ask if you can talk to the manager. You'd be amazed what you can get if you ask for it.

Remember from Sales 101- after you close (ask for something), the first person to speaks, looses. When you ask the manager to do better, shut up, and count backwards in your head from 100 to 0. Don't fill the pause with words, let him think. Maybe he can throw in something else of value at the same price?
