(PV) What do you think about Fred Thompson?
I'm curious what people think about Fred Thompson. He seems to have the most support on this forum, next to Ron Paul, of course!
 For the fans, what do you like about him? For the interested observers, what's your assessment of the Repulican race and Thompson's chances? |

Too little, too late, IMO. He is having trouble raising money, and he seems a little behind the curve on the issues.
I want to see him in debate.

CNN showed him studying in a mock debate. I guess he has something to fear from Rudy as that is who they said he is preparing for.
I want to see how he handles himself in a debate. No script, oh wait he's been practicing for the debate. I hope they ask him something he didn't prepare for so we can see the real Fred. I hate canned, scripted responses. Maybe Richard Dawson could be a guest and just before Fred speaks he could shout out "Survey says". You asked, I am not impressed! SNL got it right in their skit. On a scale of 1 to 10 how badly do you want to be President? The answer 6! I don't think he is serious. I mean really he had to be goaded into running. Plus, I still haven't nailed down his affiliation with the CFR.
