and where might this gun show be?

I think I just missed a huge one last weekend here in PA (allentown). Oh well, I need to stop spending money (for a little while) anyway.

Ah, it's in Wichita. Been a while since I've been to one, but whenever I go I can never afford anything. This time I'm planning on buying something, if the price is right.

You are approaching this all wrong...with that attitude your brain will go into choice lock...you will see so many choices you won't know what to get. I tell my self..."Self...you are not buying a damn thing..." Then when I get there its only the pistol or rifle that really jumps out at me that I get...

I think I'm gonna go with the AR. I've been doing so much research on those that I think my eyes are gonna bleed, lol. I'll still get an AK, but I think I want an AR for the "endless possibilities" and because I love how they look. Been thinking of getting either a RRA CAR A4 kit, or at least an RRA upper and a lower/kit from somewhere else. Now I'm reading that RRA seems to be backed up weeks to months, so I might just start buying pieces here and there. I think at this show I'd love to pick up a lower if I can find one. Still deciding on an upper...if I want a 100% flat top, or one of those (for lack of a better term) split "half flat top, half rear sight," such as this ---> http://www.rockriverarms.com/item-de...TOKEN=71848185

I guess, if I get the one in the link, they make those "forward cant" mounts for optics if they won't fit on that upper, right? It would probably be a while before I get an optic ($$$$$), so I will definitely need something with BUIS (heh, see? I'm using that newly learned terminology!!). So, is that UTE2 in the link a good idea?

BTW...beer is good.

Edit: And I put this "BTW...beer is good" before even reading your post, GatGat, lol.

Been that way since they were low bid for the DEA contract. People forget government contracts are still lowest bid.

Just remember..........you'll never pay more for a gun than you will at a gun show.

Well...................chit. You, you...FUN RUINER, YOU! I did come across a good deal during the last show, though, or at least what I thought was a good deal. It was an HK USPc .40 with about 15 rds through it (or so he said, which it was immaculate) and three factory mags...for $560. I almost bought it, but I wanted a 9mm, and bought a USPc 9mm that same day from the local gun shop (and paid out my azz for it). It seemed too good to be true, so I assumed it was. But yah, everything always seems over-priced. It's just a good feeling knowing that I can actually go to a gun show with the possibility of buying something!
