Speaking at a Conference with NRA-ILA and Ron Paul about CCW

Well, it looks like I'll be speaking at the Second Amendment Foundation's (SAF) Gun Rights Policy Conference (GRPC) on October 7 in Fort Mitchell, KY.

I just got a phone call from the Executive Director, Mark Taff, about the empty holster protest Students for Concealed Carry on Campus is doing, and it ended with a sponsored banner for the protest and a 1/2 hour time slot next to Ron Paul and a member from the NRA ILA.

If anybody is interested in attending, its October 5-7 (Friday-Sunday), and it is free to attend. You can register at www.saf.org for the conference.

Hopefully this will bring some more attention to our overall greater cause, and I'm really hoping it'll bring attention to campus carry.

Does Ron Paul support this movement or against?

I'm assusming supporting if hes gonna be there, but would like to make sure.

To the best of my understandings, he supports it. The whole conference is about gun rights and what we can do to get them back and expand upon them.

I'm pretty sure I'll have no problem convincing anybody that college students have the right to effective self defense.

11 days to write a 1/2 hour speech.....damn this is gonna be a LONG week.
