That's kinda stupid don't ya think? This guy is simply a representative of the campaign to Congress, as a former senator and Cabinet officer, he's got contacts. A campaign will be made up of thousands of people, not all agree on every single issue.

I'm not a huge fan of Abraham, but, BUT, he did work to ABOLISH cabinet departments such as the Department of Energy... and he is a fellow at the Hoover institute. This is why FT retained him, to work on downsizing the gov't, not on immigration.... If you'll go an look at that rating service, which is kinda stupid - b/c they don't link the votes, they give Thompson an A+ on border control/reducing illegal immigration....

The site is probably run by Paul fans who just want to find something to smear Thompson on.... it looks more like that than a research or real evaluation site.

Well, for me actions speak louder than words, and calling something a RP sponsored site is IMO a pretty lame cop-out.

Sorry to confuse you with the facts. Check again! There are links to the voting. Right, If it's anything negative about Fred Thompson it HAS to be a Ron Paul conspiracy. I'm sure we'll be hearing more of that during the primaries. Actually, only Tancredo and Hunter pass with flying colors.

If you have a better website dealing with illegal immigration than numbersusa and FAIR, please post it. I'm always open to learning more on illegal immigration.

Geeze.. some of you guys need to lighten up... it was tongue in cheeck. you can check the registration and see it's not a paul site, takes, oh, about 5 seconds....

Is it too early in the morning or what for you guys?

Besides that, I went and looked at the specifics of some of the votes - Thompson lost points b/c he voted to allow more skilled workers (read engineers, doctors) LEGALLY into the country.

Yep, foreign docs and engineers are a huge problem for us...
