What cracks me up about this is; they catch on to other types of problem solving things that you don't really think they would, but when you walk them around the tree, the other way so many times so that you think they'll learn.....the concept just seems to escape them. Maybe it is his way at getting back at me for chaining him. I can just hear him thinking, "if I have to be chained while he does yard work or wash the car, I'm going to whine so he'll have to stop what he's doing to get me untangled. hee hee"

Sophie has caught onto what it takes to get through the fence now and will go over and start pulling on strands of wire till she get a open hole. If the wife goes over and tries to cover it up, Sophie gets pissed and starts barking at her..
