I believe it mentions 6 oclock sight picture in the manual too?. Might be wrong but I think so.

My XD45C Tactical and XD9SC shoot pretty much POI, as did my P220 and P226. However I discovered, when doing some bull's-eye shooting, I have to use a 6 o'clock hold with my XD45 Service. It was a rather interesting discovery because the only gun with different sights was my P226 which had Trijicons on it, all the others have/had TFOs. Even more interesting is the only target I can see a difference on is a bull's-eye if I'm shooting any other kind of target I shoot all guns POI and the bulletsgo where I want them to.

Mine shoots at 6 o'clock and I just sent it off to get adjustable sights so I can change it to POI.

Am I the only one that thought this was going to be a "carry" thread?
I carry mine at 4 o'clock, btw.

At what distance are you shooting? Seven yards or fifty feet, or more?

What target distance,
what target size (diameter); what hand position, what ammo and what support??? In general all (my-5) SA pistols, shoot at 15 yards into a 2 inch circle (target dot by Birchwood Casey), from two hands with commercial hardball (WWB) off a solid rest (sandbags). Example: ![]() Rounds 185 to 192 of first 200. 15 yards, sandbag, 230gr FMJ WWB, 2 inch Birchwood Casey Target Spot, 6-o'clock aim. |
