Hey now! That's a little uncalled for. But if anyone gets to secede, and made allowances for that when they joined the USA, we do. Like Texas needs the rest of the country......we're food independent, state of the art medical, high-tech, and energy independent.

Wow! A new argument from the anti-gunners! They now assume that criminals will purchase brand new weapons, legally, over the counter before using them in violent crimes!! oh wait a minute...

And of course we all know criminals haven't been known to modify a weapon to obscure a serial number...

They tried this last year and it died before ever going to the Gov. L.A. County Sheriff Baca and LAPD Chief Bratton (a former New Yorker, so it'
s a big surprise), both support this.

Last year, both Remington and Wincester stated if it passed, they would stop selling ammo in this state. Due to that market loss, you in the other states would end up paying more due to the money lost in Ca.

This is the Dems way of getting rid of guns here. They will be able to say, "Hey, we didn't force them to top selling ammo here, it was their decision." Since ammo will be very expensive (if anyone will still sell it here), guns will just sit in their safes sleeping.

I can see it now back at the crime lab.

CSI tech: "Ok sir, we have run the serial number stamped on the bullet and have the results."

Detective: "What are the results?"

CSI tech: "The gun is stolen sir and completely untraceable. I guess this microstamping only helped us figure out 10 minutes faster what we already knew in the first place."

Detective: "Yeah, what a waste of taxpayer dollars. What a stupid, communist state we live in run by a bunch of panty-waste liberal idiots who have absolutely no common sense whatsoever."

My thoughts exactly. How is purposly killing the gun market in one part of the country going to help the overall fight?

Actually, I'd LOVE for Texas to secede (yes...the word is secede) and become its own country. Great idea!

Y'all have fun with Prez Hillary...we'll go our own way.

What a visual.....the empty casings would be piled two feet deep around the entire border. I'm starting to like this idea--Arizona's already halfway into Reconquista anyway....
