Thumbs up Remember the Americans

I was recently made aware of musician that produced a CD of just patriotic (well there's also songs on there for good fun too ) music.

But I wanted to plug his video. It's very moving.

People wonder why I am so proud to be an American...
I shouldn't ever have to explain myself...

People like that make me even more proud.

I am proud to be an American, don't get me wrong. But, I don't think that making patriotic music makes you an artist in any way. It's just an easy way to gain fans and sell records.

I highly doubt that this guy "went to Europe and was wounded in '45" that would make him almost 80 years old. Now, if this guy actually had any credibility behind his music then maybe I could give him credit.

Sorry, just my opinion.

I don't think he's claiming that he actually "went to Europe and was wounded in '45'". Many folk songs tell a story through the music and lyrics. Ever heard the song "The Ella Fitzgerald"?

I should get a bumper sticker made up with that slogan. I'm sure it would sell.

And to think people actually call us patriotic Americans arrogant for saying we live in the best country of the world.

Anyone remember that complete dwit who recorded that damn 9/11 song right away, which was awful, and then tried to sell himself as being patriotic, but it was obvious that it was just a huge marketing gig??? Nothing to do with this but it reminded me...
