For stopping spam email... gmail is great... my address goes out to every place i visit... and i still only get one or two spams a day... hotmail i get 100's a day... not to mention gmail offers over 10 times the mailbox space of hotmail...
i really need to try the business return mail thing becuase i get the same ads from the same credit card companies every few days... and tired of the american express blue fake cards... maybe i should save them up and mail them back to them. |

I had a roommate in college the use to shred all credit card applications and then put the shredded paper back in the postage paid envelope and send it back to them.
The best part of junk mail is how often they screw it up. For example Key Bank screwed up and accidentally changed one of my mother's bank account to my address. We both use the same bank and live in the same town. It took us about two week to realize and then rectify the problem. Two year later I still get junk mail for my mother at my address. The best part is I know exactly who sold the junk mailers the address. The saddest part of all the junk mail is there are just enough morons out there to apparently make it profitable to keep sending it out. mcb |
