Stay off the sidewalks....
As of today I'm legal to drive Class A (tractor-trailer) vehicles, which means I officially know enough to be really dangerous.
 The final skills and driving tests weren't really that hard and my downshifting is coming right along, so now I've just got to take the next step and find the right job. My thanks for the advice and support I got in my last thread about this stuff. I'm sure I'll have other questions for the more experienced drivers in our midst, so stay tuned.

The only things more disturbing than the base ideologies of the new President are the lengths to which his supporters and apologists will go to try to convince themselves and the rest of us that he's not exactly who he says he is. Go to crete carrier corp. My dad has been with them for a long, long time. My mom just started team driving with him too! Congrats and enjoy the new job!

Congrats! Would someone explain how engine breaking works? I mean, I know it is loud but what is the process and how does it slow down the truck?
