Surefire light question

I have a little Surefire 6P light I use around the house for those "bumps in the night". I have noticed that even with new batteries (CR 123's) that it dims by 2/3's after being on just 30 seconds or so. After I turn it off for a few seconds and then back on it is bright again but then begins to dim again shortly. Is this just the natrue of the light, could it be a some bad batteries, or possibly a lamp issue?

I've never had that happen with my 6P. I would bet it's the batteries. Try a new pair to see if that fixes it.

Yeah the only time mine ever really dimmed was when the batteries died and there was no more light coming out...
