Buying Gun for Spouse?
If the wife wants a gun and it will be primarily hers, I assume she has to fill out the form and pay? Or can I buy it for her and gift it? When you gift, is there another form that needs filled out? I'm in FL, so there is no gun/owner registry to worry about.
I hear all these threads where the wife has "stolen" hubby's gun cause she likes it. What happens if she's involved in a shooting while CC'ing with a gun not "officially" hers? |

FL person needs to respond. I know here in CA, if I buy a gun that she intends to carry, I have to transfer ownership to her. That happened in reverse with me - she bought a Ruger SP101, then decided she wasnt ready to CCW - had to legally transfer title to me so I could list on my CCW permit.

Never been down that road, but gather it is different from state to state. Perhaps someone will chime in with your answer.
What state are we talking about? Because I'm sure it will matter.

Wouldn't matter in Texas it's community property. I think you're being paranoid.
