Senator Larry Craig(R) Arrested(PV kinda)

I did a search on Larry Craig and nothing substantial came up so here goes.

Senator Larry Craig of Idaho apparently pleaded guilty for doing some strange, queer stuff at an airport men's room.

I then followed a link from the article to this:
http://www.pensitoreview.com/2007/08...phobic-record/

To summarize the above, Senator Craig seems to have a pretty tough no nonsense standing on anything to do with homosexuals.

I then read this study on homophobia.

http://www.oogachaga.com/downloads/h...al_arousal.pdf

Pretty long read but to sum it up, they attached sensors on two groups of people, one group homophobic the other group non. They were then fed a bunch of erotic stimuli, i.e. porn. The study states that only the homophobic group got chubbies while being exposed to homosexual porn.

There seems to be a string of incidents involving Republicans and gayness recently. I guess the other incident that comes to mind off hand is the president of the young Republicans giving an unsuspecting sleeping man fellatio. Imagine his surprise while waking up.

I can't really recall any Democrats getting any headlines for homosexual stuff. Maybe the "liberal" media keeps that stuff under but seems the Republicans are usually the offenders.

So, am I full of it? What ya'll think.
Not calling all Republicans closet homosexuals by no means, just to cover my six.

P.S. Woops, I missed Old School's announcement. This has nothing to do with 2nd amendment stuff. Feel free to delete. Was not aware of this new rule, sorry.

Well, I kinda have a problem with the word 'homo-phobic' as some people are against homosexuality for religious reasons and such. Other just find it distasteful. (insert your joke here)

That said, I love it when a hypocrite is exposed!

Another mind numbing post...yes, there are homos in the republican party and democratic party, and I'm sure libertarians,...

So what? You cannot recall recent incidents involving democrats Give me a break. I'd have more respect for you if you stated your true position instead of masking it behind such stupid posts. I guess that NJ Governor slipped your mind. Or the ever-present Barney Frank.

About the only true assertion that can be made regarding R or D party characteristics is that they are just two different piles that smell the same.

The issue isn't that he's gay. The issue at hand is that Republicans are suppose to be the ones with the conservative values and such. No gay marriage, no abortion, Creationism and such.
Gay equals Bad in the Republican party.
If you were a gay politician, wouldn't it make more sense to align yourself with the more liberal party?

I'm sorry, the New Jersey governor did slip my mind, as that was some time ago. I'm not that familiar with the Barney fellow though.

jdavionic, if you have some beef with me, just come out and say it.

My position is very clear,
Anybody but Bush.
That is all.

he should resign... really, he should've resigned yesterday.

We don't need this kind of person associated with the party.

It is just proof that politicians are the most repressed immoral people on the face of the planet. I wouldn't drop the soap around any of them (rep or dem). Gay or straight I could give a $hit. I just want someone to say what they mean and mean what they say instead of all this flip flopping and lying to get re-elected. I am disgusted by all of them. Just be yourself and let the people decide.

Your position is very thoughtless: Anybody but Bush. Ok, great, you cant give us a reason WHY it should be anybody but Bush, other than what the media feeds you.

I don't think barney has supported any anti-gay legislation, or had anonymous gay sex in an airport mens room. That is how closeted gays find "love". There are gays in both parties, one party tries to hide it a bit more, and so they find themselves in these sticky situations.

That being said, I feel bad for the guy. Like it or not people are born gay or straight, and this guy has been living a lie to try and fit into a right wing christian world. He shouldn't have to do that in this day and age.

That is kind of a silly stance to take. Bush can't run. It will be anyone but Bush. Thanks for stating the obvious though.
