Paraphernalia in and of itself, is not illegal.
But let them find a seed on your floorboard...

I guess the same thinking could go for armor piercing ammunition. I can purchase it off the internet, but do you really want that stuff available to the general public? Uhhhh, I'd say, NO. Nobody needs armor piercing rounds except the military and the SWAT officers IMO.
Well that sounds kinda backwards...no? You are saying Chong got busted for selling across state lines. But on the other hand, you are saying that it's OK to buy armor piercing ammo on the Internet, but not locally?

I feel like I'm missing something here.

Especially since it seems that the bongs and stuff are LEGAL in most states. Whereas the ammo in question is not.

I'm lost!

I agree that it is VERY unlikely anyone would smoke tobacco out of a bong, but your experience with cigarette tobacco in a pipe is not really relevant. Pipe tobacco not only burns different and tastes different, but is not meant to be inhaled - at least that's how I understand it. I'm sure your friends thinking the tobacco was pot inhaled big time....before they could know what hit them. Even a cigarette smoker would be blown away by that much smoke at once. A non smoker...it would be torture.

Peace,
D.

The problem with that logic is that it can be used to support wider-sweeping statements such as : should handguns be legal for the general public?

Agreed... Just because people think that we don't "NEED" guns/AP ammo/etc doesn't mean that we will eventually.

Guns and the like are there for us if we need them not just because...

I have a pistol because one day I MIGHT need to use it to defend myself. Probably and hopefully not of course.

It's going a bit far but as citizens it is our duty to fight back any enemy that sets foot on this soil... wether it be terrorists/own governemnt/other government that may never happen of course but IF it does then I would say I would NEED AP rounds.

A hint as to how old I am........

When I was in college, a guy that lived in my apt. building got raided for drugs. They searched his apt. with a fine tooth comb.

He had hundreds, if not thousands of tabs of LSD. But they arrested him because they found one or two pot seeds on the floor in his closet.

They couldn't do anything about the LSD 'cause it wasn't illegal.

Now I think it's classified as a dangerous drug on the same level as heroin.

Peace,
D.

Absolutely. I've done this once at a very nice Moroccan restaurant and it was quite enjoyable. They had probably twenty five different flavors available on the menu. We chose Strawberry. As we were leaving we asked another table what they had chosen and they chose BEER flavored tobacco. How strange! I wonder to this day if it was any good.

Also, there used to be an apartment down the street from me in which lived a group of young Pakistani men which frequently smelled wonderful due to the scent of flavored tobaccos emanating from it. They always had their windows and front door open so you could clearly see and smell the Hooka on display. I never had the balls to start a conversation with them beyond "that smells great."

The 40s? I don't even think marijuana was invented yet back then!
