New Purchase!
Well - the gun bug bit me really hard today... I've been debating about a .22 plinker to run a bunch of ammo through... Originally I was going to wait for the conversion kit for the XD to come out, but then I can't shoot that without swapping everything around, plus the cost is very similar to the Walther P22 anyways... So I did it.
I stopped by Cabela's after work and picked one up, along with 3 boxes of bulk ammo (500 ct), a bag, a mini locking safe and a bore snake. I picked up the P22 with the silver slide... I already have a full black XD, so I wanted to swap it up... The Olive Drab (that green) color would've been nice too, but they only had the 5" barrel model and I didn't care for it. After I had filled out the paperwork for the P22, I saw the XD9 SC that I was also interested in getting at some point; but I guess that will have to wait until I've got more money. Anyways - pictures sometime tomorrow or Sunday and hopefully I'll get it out to the range next week to see how it goes. 500 rounds at $10 HAS to be better than 50 rounds...

Heh - I'm sure I'll be just fine with what I picked up... the green was nice, but I like the silver slide just as much.
I just can't wait to shoot it!
