(PV) What we choose to ignore

I ran across this by accident while surfing around youtube and instantly thought of the National ID thread someone else started. Anyone want to make a comment before it is not allowed

I don't think that we mods will pull the
plug on this, but the 'black ops' probably
will.

All of this is public info and readily available
to any citizen. The trick is how to find it and
know what you are looking for.

I posted a list sometime back, on forum,
which showed all the governmental agencies.
With some extensive research, one could find
all kind of good info.

Hell, I bet 99% of the US populace hasn't the
slightest idea what 'Presidential Powers' really
are. Billy Jeff used that authority more than
any other prez.

There is one big problem however, one that
the government will never be able to overcome,
'there are more of us than them'.

That just reinforces in my mind why every able citizen should be armed. We are going the way of Rome, slowly but surely.

Should the government ever make an attempt at confining and completely controlling the lives of the American people they will fail miserably. There is no personal control in democracy, this moves into the totalitarian style of government and no one in their right mind will stand for that.

I do not fear the government, for they do not have the power to control our lives as some may think.

Can someone pass me the Reynolds Wrap?

For what its worth, I see this ending very badly. There is nothing holding us back from the disintegration of government and life as we know it anymore. In fact, I wouldnt be surprised to hear of people being "black bagged" in the not to distant future, a la V for Vendetta.

Dont think it can happen? Everything is in place. The more I think about it, the more I think Ron Paul may not be the best thing for this country. Revolution on the other hand....

Unfortunately, I'm at work and can't view the video. I will when I get home. To speak to the general theme here... I know I rant a lot about our government. While I don't think it is going in the right direction, I still believe "America" is bigger than who is in charge. I still firmly believe we are the greatest country in history.

Every Empire has met it's end. We have yet to find a way to protect us from our selves. Absolute power corupts absolutely. Is it possible for the U.S. to go the way of Britan, or the Romans, yes. I firmly believe that things will get much worse before they get better. It is natural for humans to take for granted what they have. To become complacent and lazy from sucsess.

HOWEVER, I truly believe that the ideals this country was founded on is much bigger than the government that runs it. I really believe that we will not go the way of the Romans and that this country's story is not yet finished. We must remain vigilant though. The longer we ASSUME it will not happen, the more likely it will. I just believe we have something more than the other examples, and that we can overcome the shortcommings of our way of government. This country was founded by the people, for the people, and I don't think it is time to bring out the fat lady. We will have our dark days to come, but I choose to believe the spirit this counry was founded on will not die.

Sorry, I saw a chopper, but couldn't hear it. Ya, we are all screwed. It is just a matter of time. Conform now or be taken away in the black suburan. I got to go now.......
