It sound like your describing how to have a lion in your home, if you have to train a Pit like you have a wild pack of wolves in your yard than they shouldn't be pets.

I'm sorry, blame the dog's owner all you want, but when a dog enters a home and attacks a sleeping person, something is wrong with the dog.

no doubt something is wrong with the dog. strong dogs need strong owners to balance them mentally. A strong dog with a weak owner becomes the leader and alpha dogs are crazy dangerous. I hate to say it was not the dogs fault but the dog was just doing what they do. I think every dog owner should have to watch Ceasar Milan to understand what they need to do.

I understand what your saying but its horrible that by the time you find out that the dog is in the red zone some kids is dead or scared for life what good is bang then...

GEEEEZZZZZZ Not this argument again...

i said it once and will say it again. It all comes down to how the dog is raised and trained. if the dogs (any breed) is allowed to become alpha it will assume the dominate role, and become aggressive. You put any dog into a pack and will assume the traits of the pack.

Stupid owners=stupid dogs. Not saying they dogs were not aggressive, But they were not born aggressive.

So you're saying I should sleep with one eye open to watch out for the agressive chihuahua next door?

Had to read this twice.
For a minute I thought you were comparing an inanimate object to a a living creature.
