Happened here at a range in Bellevue, WA, not too very long ago. Also, several years ago, a guy walked into a sporting goods store in Seattle where they sold used shotguns and rifles that were displayed on stands that the public could access. He pulled a 12 gauge round out of his pocket, loaded it into a shotgun and shot himself. That put an end to the open gun racks.

A local indoor range I go to has had this happen several times over the past couple years.
Quite sad...

Huh? You can't rent a lane unless you come with a shooting partner?

I was having a "conversation" about guns in the home with a woman on a chat board once. One of her reasons for people to not have a gun in the house was because of some stat that said that some high % of people who kill themselves with a gun. She actually said "not having a gun in your house can't 100% GUARANTEE nobody kills themself, but it till make it next to impossible"

If we let our lives revolve around suicide, we'd only ever get laid by crazy, eighty-year-old women.
