1000 rounds / new blood
Woohoo, I put round #1000 through my XD-45c today.
My girlfriend had to work today, so I took her friend along because she has been wanting to try shooting a handgun. We rented a lane together as a coach/trainee team.
<O </OShe was pretty damn good for a newbie, and she handled the pushy .45 absolutely well, being the paper-thin waif that she is. I was impressed with her. The funniest thing was, though, that after the first three shots she fired, her first words were, "Wow, that's not anything like on TV!" - lol! She's right, because I have The Shield on in the background right now, and the gun shots sound like you are hearing them from another room, or something. Anyway, later she was telling me that the feeling of the gun going off, and the shock, caught her off-guard and surprised her, but she had a huge smile all the way back from the range.
<O</OI think we all know that feeling. 
Incidentally, she wasn’t all that interested in my M9; I think it was a little big for her. She wanted to keep shooting the .45. Good girl!

I started to get really worried. 1000 rounds then blood?
Took the girlfriends friends out shooting and someone got shot. Or was it gonna be 1000 rounds fired because they wouldn't stand still
