Steyr M9 .vs. Beretta Px4

Ok, so as someone posted another thread on here about wanting a Px4, it got me wanting one but I had already had my eye on the Steyr M9.
I like the looks of both.

The reason for this thread is to get your opinions on these 2 hand guns. I may not even get one but if I do, it'll be this year and I'd like to know what you think of both as far as which is better than the other.

thanks!
Px4

Steyr M9

I' ve shot both. My brother has the 9mm PX4 and I borrowed the Steyr MA-1 at the range one time.

I'd take the Steyr over the Beretta any day. Better trigger, better grip, lower recoil (not that either is a hard kicker in any fashion).

Berettas are just too big and bulky and their triggers are stagey and long.

In that price range...have you considered the FNP-9? I think I'd rather have the FNP-9 over those other two. Its a better deal for the money.

The only thing that gets to me about the FN is the mag once its all the way in the gun, how it sticks out at the bottom, facing the barrel. Other than that, its a nice looking pistol.

Oh, another thing.. How come when I typed the FN in and went to look at pics, a Browning PRO 9 came up and is exactly like the FN?

So how many, "What gun/rifle should I buy?" threads have you got going now?

How to decide.

Step #1 - Go to range.

Step #2 - Rent weapons you are interested in. (Since you are under 21, you will need to take one of your parents with you.)

Step #3 - Fire all weapons you are interesed in.

Step #4 - DECIDE FOR YOURSELF WHAT WORKS BEST FOR YOU AND BUY IT!!!! (Oops! That "must be 21" thing is going to get in the way again.)

I know I know

Well, I dont know anything about the rifle/hand gun and so I hope that someone here has one or the other and if theres any big difference in one of that guns that should sway to towards the other... then thats what Im looking for. And also, I have a little problem in life as to where I can not make up my mind on anything... I also need advice on which way to go in situations like "buying something" I just want to make sure I get the better of the two or three options that I pick out.

As far as looks, they are both ugly as sin, but the M9 looks like it has a nice grip.

The bottom line is is does not not matter how gun X works for person Y. It only matters how it works for you.

With the exception of total crap guns, you will find just as many people that will tell you that X is the greatest thing since sliced bread and just as many that will tell you it is the worst POS on the planet. (Example: Glock lovers/haters; XD lovers/haters, etc.)

It all comes down to what works in your hands.

Well, you make good sense so Ill take you up on your advice if I decide to get rid of the XD which I doubt I will but thats how I picked it over the Glock, I went to the store, ask to see both the XD and G17 and the G17 felt weird as **** so I was like "Ill take the XD please" and while i checked out, got lectured from some huge ass 6'8 lookin LEO about how his glock was better and the XD were Glock wanna be's, as he said that the guy behind the shelf quickly replied "And they are pretty damn good "GLOCK WANNA BE'S" So the LEO handled one and he walked out with a XD 40 service that day too ha!

Since you have already established that you are under the legal age to purchase a handgun, did you or the store owner commit the crime when you purchased a handgun? In other words, did you lie or did he not obtain the required North Carolina pistol permit? Just curious.
