"Official" 2007 NFL football season thread
Well, with Week 1 of Preseason starting today (w/ the Colts at Cowboys tonight at 8:00pm on FOX), I thought I'd start a thread for all the chatter related to the 2007 NFL season. While I may not be a huge fan like some of you probably are (as far as knowing all the players, having a favorite team, etc), I still love watching the NFL games on TV....
Your picks? Thoughts? Observations? Favorite teams? Most hated players? Comments about a particular play in a particular game? Etc, etc etc... Post 'em HERE. Let's talk some football!!!

When the Chargers hired Marty I predicted they would suck. Well, they kind of didn't.....they just waited til the playoffs to do so.
LT seems like one hell of a leader. I'm hoping the rest of the pieces fall into place this season.

Gooooo Redskins!! I know we had a really crappy season last year with Portis (#26) hurting his wrist, then hurting it again, and Brunel (QB) just getting too old to play and having to use fresh meat, Jason Campbell... but combined with Randel El ready to go and no more fighting between players and coaches, I'm really hoping for a good season! Coach Gibbs really needs to go out with a bang this season and I can't wait to buy my new Skins gear!!! We play our first game Saturday against the Titans and I will be glued to the TV (when I'm not shooting!)
As for most hated player... right now it's Vick for the shame he cast on his teammates and coaches and letting them down when they really need him. Innocent or guilty, Vick is like Barry Bonds, an amazing player with a lot of God-given talent, who has an asterix next to their name... But aside from Clinton Portis, my favorite player in the league is Peyton Manning!! I love him as a QB for the Colts and he just seems like a genuinely nice guy who plays his heart out and loves what he does! Not like some who play for the money and don't make risky plays so they won't hurt their pinky toe.. gimme a break! It's football!! If you aren't dirty and in pain, you aren't playing the game right!!!

Even though I'm in Indiana and the Colts hold their summer camp at my school.

I am a Bengals fan, though I think they are looking at another .500 season. Main thing is,
IT'S FOOTBALL SEASON AGAIN!!! BASEBALL SUCKS!!!

what's the deal w/ the Eagles for this year? McNabb playing at all? Is he better yet? Who's starting? Have they weeded out all the thorns?
