Well, I know it was just preseason, but the Colts got their arses kicked last night. I guess they didn't want to hurt their check-writing hands?

It boggles my mind just how much $$$ these guys make in a season (not even a full year) just to play a game they like. Yeah, I know it's a difficult game, injuries happen, blah blah, but come on! I like doing CAD, but no one ever wants to sign me on with a "$7M over 4 year" contract.

Now my Bears, on the other hand will surprise no one when they make a repeat appearance in the Super Bowl! That is unless Jerry Angelo continues to handcuff the team...

My favorite player? Sweetness, Mr. Walter Payton himself, thank you very much! Second favorite? Gale Sayers, possibly the best open field runner of all time!
3rd greatest?

No...

Currently he is the greatest. Though, LT will take that from him.

Steelers

I couldn't believe it took to the 4th page for someone to post the Steelers. (The preseason started on Sunday in Canton, Ohio where the Steelers destroyed Reggie Bush and Drew Brees 20-7). Tomlinson is a better coach then I expected to see right out of the gate. Even with Willie Parker not playing, the Steelers scored on 6 plays for 80 yards to open the game. 1st round draft pick Lamar Woodley is an animal on the field. I was at the game and very impressed by the whole team, especially Charlie Batch.

Eh,

Third greatest. Sweetness and Sayers rank above him because I say so.

I was thinking the same thing, I may be living in Mississippi but I am a die hard Steelers fan from Pittsburgh, and anybody from Pa. knows we luv us some Steelers.

All my Steel Working, Iron City Beer drinking, smash mouth family think that the Steelers are going all the way, but they think that every year, I hope their right.

Payton was good, but his records were going to be shattered by Sanders if he stayed in, that year, had he not retired.

If Barry had the line Emmitt Smith had, it would have been uncontested...

Ladamien Tomlinson though...I think he's a more complete back with less scared rabbit moves, but overall talent, he's at the same level as Barry.
