Magazine wear and a full mag
I am having some serious problems with my new mags. I can only get 15 shells into the mags and I am curious if it is because they are brand new. Now, I'm not little guy or weak by any means and I have given it all I had and couldn't get that last shell in there even with the loader helping me.

do you have the speed loader that came with the gun ? Everyone will say that springs wear out with use but i left my mags fully loaded for a few days and they loosened up.

Are you talking about an XD? Which caliber?
Is your spring oriented correctly? I can't imagine how or why this could happen! Don't hate me, but you didn't mis-count did you??? (j/k

I would guess with 15 shells he is probably talking about the 9mm.

This might be a stupid question, but is it marked as being 16 rounds? If not, maybe a New Jersey 15 rounder?

Glock started marketing a 10+2 extension mag for the Model 26 9mm, I bought two but no way you can get more than 11 without a speedloader. I think they're all that way until "broken in" with use.

I can cram 17 in my 9mm 16 rounders...a little tight, but they go in.
