I bought my TLR-2 because I dislike the glow in the dark night sights. But thats another discussion within it self. I haven't had an single issue with the laser and light combo, its easy to use, keeps its zero, resistant to water, gun scrubber and other cleaning solvents, and hasn't failed me once.

However the two downsides I've found:

1.) Hard to locate a holster that will accommodate both the TLR-2 and your gun.

2.) Laser can be obstructed by a water droplet, found this out when I was shooting in heavy rain.

Otherwise I never regretted the investment, can't go wrong with the TLR series.

I have a TLR-2 that I keep on my AR15.

I have not used it much, just enough to zero the laser at 15 yards. So far its has been great. I don't use it on my XD because I'm used to and trained to shoot with night sights and or a handheld flashlight.
