I took the standard NRA courses and became an instructor (pistol, rifle, blackpowder, home defense) and figured I had it going on. Then one day I saw some videos of people in a civilian training course and realized I didn't know snot.

This is more of a formality than any real learning for someone who has already run a range for a while. This fall: Precision Rifle 2 & Tactical First Aid Next year: Tactical Scenarios These classes are great but they aren't like being in any kind of combat of course.

NRA Home defense course
Advanced CCW course I shoot USPSA (dont laugh, it teaches unmatched gun handling skills)
