You guys are the bestest ever.

I have made this my new "home". There was/is another forum that I used to call "home", but it got to be such a soap opera of sorts. It really turned me off. When it went to a pay to play forum, that was probably the last straw. I just don't want to be forced to pay for a forum. Thanks for keeping this place a volunteer fee. I know ther is at least one other person here that is over there too, and probably more. I still have several friends there, but have not enjoyed any of the drama.

The drama here quickly fades and people are quick to acknowledge mistakes and make ammends. Great forum. Thanks everyone for making people feel so at home here. When I get some money saved up, I will be sure to order some stuff from the forum sponsors to help keep this place free & going.

This was me in Idaho several years ago fishing for Steelhead. I am wearing my "fur coat" for winter.

I wish. I wanted to get a Savage 12BVSS in .22-250 for coyote and prairie dog, but my Remmy 700 SPS was on sale for much cheaper, so I bought it. I haven't shot one, but if even a small part of what I hear people say about them is true, then I MUST own onw soon. I still want a 12BVSS, but the one I get will be in 300WSM. Only because they don't make a long action in that particular rifle style.

Yep, the people are the reason this became the hangout.

As for the 12BVSS, I've loved the looks of that thing since I first layed eyes on it. Looks sweet, and I understand they shoot pretty darn good out of the box.

Same here. There's a local forum I used to frequent more, and it's actually been getting better lately as some certain people have moved on, but it seemed like every thread turned into a p*****g contest and the fanatical Glock monkeys were out in full force.

I still visit The Other Forum, but this is the one I spend the most time on.

I didn't know about "Savage Shooters".

eta: I still lurk there, and post sometimes, but it seemed like I killed every thread I posted on, and that somebody would always take offense at someone else's posts. I learned much there, but the drama got out of hand for me.
