I was between dogs, I can't get a new one for about 6 months after the old one dies because I'm so sad...

I forgot one thing they do have alot more false alarms than ADT which can be unnerving (sp) once in a while.

Some sounds are out of the ordinary and can set off the alarm in your head. Been there many times. A few time my suspicions turned out. I had once caught a kid climbing into my spare bedroom window. Something about the sound a slide make as it is flying forward into battery made the kid reverse his path. I then met him outside and held him till the police came by. Another time I caught some guy trying to steal my ladders of my work truck. I made him put them back on while waiting for the cops.

But there have been 10,000 times I heard something and it turned out to be nothing. You just never know. And if you got young kids in the house you need to be more alert. Think about Jessica Lundsford she was abducted from her bedroom. Or was that Elizabeth Smart. Who cares it's still a serious threat that needs to be taken seriously. Lotta freaks out there the target the kids.
