Motorcycle Carry???
What method of carry do the rest of you who ride motorcycles use when riding? My concern is that with vibration, etc I would need a holster with a thumb strap or other stronger retention than that offered by a Supertuck, CTAC, etc.
I tried doing a search on the board and didn't find anything on this so hopefully I'm not creating a duplicate thread. Thanks. |

Why would you want to carry your motorcycle? Why don't you just ride it?
. . . . . . . Ohhhhhhh, ok, I get it now. How about a shoulder holster? I don't ride, but I would think this may be your best option.?. From my perspective, it seems like most everything else would either get in the way, or be exposed. ???????????? |

I have a holster sewn into the lining of my leather jacket, but this time of year when it's too hot to wear my jacket I usually just carry IWB with my shirt tucked over the top and around the handgun in the holster. All you see is the clip on the belt.

I use a CrossBreed supertuck. I ride a zx-6r (sport bike) and have no problems with the gun getting loose. I ride in all different positions (sitting up, crouching over, standing up, laying down on the tank) and have never had a problem.
Actually, when I'm riding I can't even feel the holster or gun and have to check every now and then to see if I'm wearing it. Odd feeling - but never any problems. Now, if you're one of those cruiser riders with the comfy seats and nice sitting angles, I don't know what to tell ya |

I IWB with my 45c without problems... Hell, last time I was out, I fell on it. That was not the bitch part though, I pinned my leg under the rad shroud and it was a bitch to pick it up with one leg (dual sport)...
I wear a pretty heavy armored jacket and pants when I ride though, I imagine those help hold it in place quite well.

Dood, if you aren't hearing a 'varoom varoom!' sound, that's why you are so tired.
