I really learned some stuff from the first book and can't wait for another

How about a topic on dealing with open carry and conceal carry. Opinions of LEO professionals, instructors. Etc.

Also a chapter on dealing with the Anti-gun crowd when open carrying. As well legal rights in carrying in a public place and be confronted.

As the book is not readily available in Australia I dont know what the book covers but I will have a go and have you covered this?
Legal aspects of an armed response
Calibre selection and does it make a difference if you appear in court over a shooting? (by that I mean will you be hammered by the law if you use a 50 cal for self defense when you owned a 9mm for example)
Amount of ammo to carry and does this make a legal difference? ( again in court will carrying say 40 rounds make you look worse than say 20 rounds?)
My 2 cents worth

Most of that is covered in the old book, You can buy the book from David at this link, It's $20.00, I recommend reading it, He goes into the law, handgun selection, ammo, carry methods, holsters, you name it, It is a well rounded book. I like the chapters talking about action and reaction, As well as Body Alarm Reaction.

low light conditions, long gun deployment in the home, in fact, why not focus this one around defending the home.

If you're serious about self-defense, need to get more information about other aspects of defense other than guns, such as combatives, movements, knives, etc. Too many folks are too gun-centric in their self-defense framework.

For gun stuff, discussion of distance and movement and how that impacts what you need to see to shoot (ie: sighting continuum - point shooting through extreme front sight focus)
