I know the show started up again 2 or 3 weeks ago, but all of them I've seen were repeats. Are there any new ones out there? It is a great show that I enjoy watching.

col cooper had the luck of being the first real firearms guru. there isnt much left of the 1911 for other people to discover. clint smith is smart and in order to stay on top in a world were everything has already been done you have to do more with different equipment.

He probably uses the XD because he truly likes the pistol - says alot for the XD, considering Smith's background.
Mr. Smith does like the XD. The gun feels good to him, is reliable and has a higher round count than a 1911. 13+1 beats 8+1 any day!

It might also have something to do with the fact that right before/after the "Skills Drill" sections of each show there is a commercial that says "This portion of Personal Defense TV is brought to you by Springfield Armory". At which point they show an XD....

Just a thought...

Mr. Ayoob must have many guns that he really likes. After reading the copy of Combat Tactics someone left around the house, I would have thought him to be a real HK fan.

umm, nope. See my review of my class with Clint Smith last week at Thunder Ranch and what he said about his XD45s...Review(pix): Thunder Ranch THG2 + XD45!

the DVD set is well worth it, picked up more than a few more tips.

PDTV is very good and very informative.
