Here is my little kit. This goes to the range with me when I don't drive, and it goes in a pack for hikes and camping trips. It isn't just a 'major-trauma-only' kit, but put together to accomodate most things from little boo-boos to more major puncture wounds. It is not intended as an end-all comprehensive ALS ninja-paramedic jump kit:

Contents:

1 LA Rescue LA8404-RED pouch

Bandages in Zip-Lock freezer bag
  • 4 2”x4” NexCare Waterproof bandages (like TegaDerm)
  • 5 1.25”x 2.75” NexCare Waterproof bandages (like TegaDerm)
  • 5 1.5”x1” NexCare Waterproof bandages (like TegaDerm)
  • 4 5”x9” dressings (Abdominal Pads)
  • 4 4”x4” New Sponges (non-woven)
  • 4 2”x2” moleskin
  • Assorted ointments, alcohol pads, PI prep pads, burn gel, etc
  • Misc bandages (2”x2”, whatever odd or leftovers)

2 Triangle bandages
1 4” sterile conforming gauze
1 1” roll porous tape
1 Eyewash cup
1 tube triple antibiotic ointment
1 tube oral glucose
1 TraumaDEX or similar clot accellerating agent
1 trauma shears
1 CPR Microshield or other barrier device
1 pair nitrile gloves
