new phone!!!
Oh I'm soo excited! I went eBay happy last week and ended up purchasing a new PalmTreo 650 and I got it today, activated and I've been playing with it all day (at work)!
 Oh how I love the PDA/phone combo! soo easy to use and i just ordered a pink case for it (came with black, boring!) and now i'm looking at those 3-in-1 stylus/pen/laser pens  The camera resolution is amazing and overall it was a steal the price I got on it, couldn't be happier and I just had to share!

I don't know from phones and all I wanna do is just make a call to a few people with speed dial but I'm happy for ya if your happy with your new phone.

My work currently issues the 650, its much much better than the 600 was, its a great phone/pda.
You have to go download google maps for it. much better than using the web browser for maps. You have to have a data plan though. it has to download the images from the web. I do email on it with Versamail, and my teammates and I wear out the keyboard doing sms all day long. Must have for mobile service employees like us.

I use my cell phone to make calls....period. I don't do texting, I don't take pics (generally speaking) and I have a computer at home for the internet.
The book is almost as thick as the Penal Code book I used to carry in the field and not as easy to understand.

Treo phone
I had a new 750WX and sent it back......all that technology and no voice dialing? It does have some nice features, but to me, you really have to use all that stuff for it to be worth it.
The buttons are way small on it too. I swapped it back to Verizon and got a Samsung that has the side flip up display and full text pad...pretty cool. It was free with my new every 2, and has voice dialing to boot. Have fun with the Treo....all in all, it is a pretty cool gadget.

Congrads. What plan do you have? I'm on AT&T/Cingular and went with the AT&T 8525. I wanted a phone with a full keyboard but didnt want something too wide when I needed to talk.

Glad you like your new phone.
My wife has a pocket PC phone, came with MS Word, excel, etc.. She called out SP the other night and canceled her full internet, she just doesnt use it and its 30.00 a month. She says when the contract expires, shes getting a more basic phone.

should have gotten the Palm Treo 755p.
I had a 600, 650, and 700p and now I have a PPC-6700. I sure do miss the one-handed text messaging that I could do with the treo.
