I started with the XV6600 from Verizon, then moved-up to the XV6700, and now I'm using a Treo 700w (I'm a Windows guy ). It is by far the best smartphone I've had... I also manage an office full of Blackberries, and I wouldn't trade my Treo for one of them any day.

Well I didnt have the right plan. I upgraded to 1500 text messages and unlimited MBs of internet for $24.99. My new plan has unlimited PDA connect for $34.99 and I had to get the 1500 messages for $14.99. So I'm paying an extra $24.99 a month but its worth it because I have more freedom. I'd rather text then talk. I have 6000+ mins (rolled over) so I'm good on that.

I love playing with those... Apple has got their **** together (tho I could be accused of drinking the Apple kool-aid, since I'm typing this from my MacBook Pro ). Trouble is, $40 a month for a cell phone is enough for me...

Thats the whole point.

Actually in my profession, at the location I'm at, I dont get the internet. I'm a consultant so I'd like to be able to email my boss, etc. Also since I have a boring job I need to do something to help pass the time.

I have been using PDAs for years. My fav apps are MS reader with free books that can be found online (clasics), and Bible software. My company made me change to Blackberry this year and NOW I love it but I can only use the stock software.

Yea well I'm willing to bet you especially want me to pay 100% attention while I'm doing my job.

Cell Phone Bill Reduction Hint

A treat for all my XD friends:
If you ever need to call your cell phone company for anything, when you get to the computer prompt, ask for "cancel service" and you'll be put through immediately to an operator.
This works particularly well if you feel your bill is too much, then nicely ask them to make your bill less or you are moving to a different carrier.
Also be sure the change does not extend your contract.
Particularlly effective with Sprint.
Enjoy.

Heh, I've used that tactic to great effect when dealing with DirecTV
