Yeah, hugs and loving.....

It is amazing how the power of the dollar can make a difference. All the hugging and loving in the world will not help if they continue to see how easy big money is made in the drug world. That and not having to go to school, w@#& or put out any real effort to be part of the mainstream. It is a never ending cycle which is not addressed by the leadership.

I am fine with what I said. There are many more important issues than banning assault weapons. I don't think we could be any worse off than we are right now. Obama did not say he wants to stop anyone from maintaining their freedom, you may want to reread the article. I am not saying I agree with banning any guns, I am saying that is pretty low on my list of priorities right now. I was comparing Obama to Bush and I obviously think that Obama is a better choice.

[quote=jtkratzer;646207]I think you need to rethink what you've just said...you're going to basically allow the gun bans and attacks on the 2A and other freedoms because there are more important issues? What's more important than maintaining our freedom?

Don't be so quick to think that. He's up in the polls right now and the way W keeps descuriging Republicans, that Gun Grabber might win.

You obviously don't care about your Gun rights then.
Obama wants to get rid of ALL semi-automatics

actually, this is not quite accurate. i did a lot of research on the subject for a term paper and the "ban" actually had no jurisdiction over guns specifically, but additions and features on guns. it limited how many features you could have on particular guns. hence why the ban was so ineffective in the first place, it actually didn't ban ANY guns (that weren't already banned by earlier international trade agreements).

even so, we all know that bans on specific guns don't work anyway, but try telling that to a liberal

You are right, to hell with my gun rights. I am on this gun forum to talk politics, not guns.

this thread should be PV...

and don't get nasty guys, we all have our candidates and if someone likes Obama, all we can do is try to educate them but we can't change people's priorities, so lets not try...

Don't forget abstinence. Schools aren't teaching that anymore, they're teaching techniques of how to deploy the condom instead. Rather than teaching kids not to have sex, they've given up and are teaching kids how to have safer sex.

Since most of these kids that have issues with crime don't go to school or pay attention in school, they don't get the safer sex education either and continue to increase the population of people who don't contribute to society, they merely feed off of the socialist handouts and crime.

Then you're part of the oproblem, not the solution. There is absolutely nothing more important than the preservation of our Rights.

Nothing.

The Second Amendment does not say "The Right to Keep and Bear government-approved arms shall be disregarded as soon as there are enough sheeple out there who can be occupied with 'more important issues than gun control' "
