(PV) 'None of the Above' Leading GOP White House Contenders in New Poll
Hmmm, I guess this is why no one wants to talk about another republican candidate. It's starting to sound like the title is correct, or that no one (sheeple) outside of this board knows about the non-top-three candidates. OK, it's all MSM spin

Although it DOES have a definate spin to it, the poll tells us that Republican voters are sick and tired of phony baloney pretend conservatives and those that only tow the party line or cater to large corporate interests. They also do not want candidates that have track records of not supporting the Bill of Rights, like Guliani and Romney.
This is probably the best time for a third party candidate or underdog like Ron Paul to come in and re-ignite the base. Theres never been a better time for a return to what we might call truer conservatism than the 2008 election. - Brickboy240

Paul's biggest domain seems to be the internet. I am very interested to see how well it translates into votes. I have a feeling that the other candidates that aren't taking full advantage of this low-to-no cost campaign strategy will find themselves playing catch-up in the very near future.
Nothing beats national TV exposure just yet, but but the role of the internet seems to be growing. |
