E-mail to Winchester Ammunition Division
Sent an e-mail to Winchester about the round of 7.62x39mm I had that simply fell apart and caused a FTF in my WASR. I explained what happened to them and at the end asked if "this was a once in a life time failure, or was there a production failure for this round?" I'm really hoping they say "NO! And to prove it to you, here's X number of free rounds for you to try." I will probably get a reply that says, "Thanks for your inquiry on your concern of our ammunition. We will make sure this is... .... ..."
What do you think their reply will be? (If there is one) *I put 500 rounds of Russian surplus ammo through the AK without a problem, but the first Winchester round I had jammed. I explained that in the e-mail.

Yeah that's pretty much what I am expecting to happen from them. Big companies don't really seem to care all that much I guess. Poo

If there's a way to send a picture that could get your message across, I think I'd try that to see if it piqued their interest.
If you send the actual round of ammo, I'll bet you'll never hear from them again. Big companies don't like to acknowlege mistakes. bd |
