Thief. Take her at least another $100 in 'guilt money."

Colt PP's were excellent, lightweigt little sixguns. They are often exceptionally accurate, and the Colts were famous for their 'bank vault' lockup. The cylinder hand is a two-step affair, with the bottom part holding the cylinder against the locking bolt with the last movement of the trigger. They are hell to refit when they get loose. I fit a new hand to a Diamondback 20 years ago, and it was the hardest $20 I ever earned. Won't work on another one.

Popular they were; sturdy they are not. For all practical purposes they are built on the 1930's Detective Special frame. If I had a nice one I'd shoot it a lot with .38 wadcutters, and if I wanted something more for a defense load I'd use the old FBI load.

Nice gun. I still say you stole it.

That IS a very nice gun and will be a collector's piece one day.
Now, this gun has no federal or state paperwork on it, right?
I mean, when President Hillary sends in the goon-squads to confiscate all your guns, this one would fit nicely in a sealed tube buried in the garden.
