I think the problem comes when people lose respect for nature. Dogs are pack animals. Remember when we were kids and you didn't run up to a dog and pet it? you always held out your hand and let the dog decide if it was going to come up to you or not?
PB are powerful dogs. Like any dog if they don't feel safe in their position in the pack there's a good chance they could assert themselves. they just have a little more power to back it up.
