My Bet $$$
I know this is a gun forum but I thought I would share my bet with you none the less...

I am my best friends best man and he really wanted me to lose some weight for his wedding. well needless to say I was off to a slow start at best. One night we were sitting around B.S.ing and he was ragging me about my slacking on the weight loss so I jokeingly said I could lose 100 lbs by the wedding date (Late Jan next year).~I'm curently around 385.~ He took it serious and bet me $1000 that I couldn't do it. If I lose I have to give him my Kimber 1911.

I'm gonna be honest...the only way he's gonna get my kimber is out of my cold dead hand

I welcome any advice or suggestions.

i should have mentioned this but I was afraid of being long winded.. we made this bet 2 - 1/2 weeks ago and since then I've been taking hydroxiecut and walking around 2 to three miles a night (at least during weeknights), I've also started back at my old gym and have been slowly working back into it. I've leaned out my diet but its hard.

Thats a pretty tough ticket for sure.. Look at the South Beach diet, it may be right up your ally..

Hydroxycut is good for energy, it kept me up during some pretty boring times, but try Xantrax for appetite suppression. My first time taking it I only ate 2 bites of my omelette and was full. I think it creates gas in your stomach to make you fill full. I've stopped taking it though because it made me feel funny but I've shrinken my stomach and dont eat as much. You need to also hit the gym and do some weight lifting. Your muscles will burn fat even when you're sleeping so start pumping some iron. Lighter weight and more reps is what you want. If you have a good gym around you, check if they will give you a free consultation with a trainer if you join.

he's been trying to get me to lose some weight for a while not just for his wedding but he used that to try and motivate me before our bet. He's a dink for a lot of other reasons.
