Transformers the Movie
I just noticed something for the first time while perusing some pics of very pristine examples of the original toys. Megatron was a gun, yes I knew that. What I didn't know and most people probably don't realize is that he was a Walther P38. check the pic

Yep. Always knew that. Start my early love of Walther pistols. Haven't ever had a chance to own one, but I still think they're pretty.

Yup...I hope the movie is good. I was a dang Transformers fanatic back when I was a little kid.

The original toys are sky high now. The new toys suck hard. Hope th emovie is good.

I have read the two new books during my travels. Not bad for light reading but extremely different from the old animated series. I really wanted to see if the movie would be worth seeing in the theater or via DirectTV ppv. I think that I will go see it for the CGI.

I have the original movie on VHS, LASERDISC AND DVD.
I also have 3 different versions of it on VHS. Transformers rocks hard. I can't wait for the movie. One thing I never quite got over was how megatron was a gun in the original... I mean come on....He SHRINKS when he transforms?? wth is that about?
