Computer Help please.....
Ok so a few days ago my computer just decided to turn gay on me.
When I click on my internet icon it takes a LONG time, like 25 seconds to open.... once it opens its ok.. I can go from Xdtalk to Youtube or Liveleak fast... just like its normal but when ever I try to open something, a new tab or the internet.... it just is SOOOOOO damn slow... Anyone have an idea on what this is? I have 57% free space on my hard drive and its not that cus its been at 57 for about 2 years.... Any help would be great becuase this slowness is getting annoying.

I defragmented it and did a disk clean up about 3 days ago... that was my first thought too when it messed up... but still slowwwwww.
did a virus scan and deleted a few spyware items and still not any better. |

well my computer is upstairs and Its connected to a router but its just this and my moms... Hers is fine.
There is 3 others downstairs. My dads work comp. My other comp and my brothers... they all run slick and shiney.. we are all on road runner... Im about ready to chunk this computer out the window. |

have you tried the standard "clear cookies & cache" ?

yup, tools, then internet options then "delete cookies" and "delete offline content"
or if you are on IE 7, just "delete" on "Browsing history" does it all
