Well guys the wife told me a few days ago she wants to seperate. I'm torn up right now but hopefully things will work out.

My concealed instructor said to change out your concealed weapon/holster, and even location of holster while this is going on. Everyone knows that separations/divorce can get messy and you don't want a vindictive wife making false accusations. It can put an end to all your gun collecting!

Many people advise giving/selling all/most of your collection to a trusted friend for safekeeping until this is over.

Yes a 2 1/2 year old. That is what kills me, the idea of being a part time dad. We have been together since high school. I just hope a little time away will give us the means to work things out. She is a great lady.

With a kid involved do what you can if it's you, but if it's a "her" problem, bail as clean as possible and love the kid.

Sorry to hear that. Without much details it's hard to offer much else. I will say that all marriages usually encounter challenges over the years. If you both want it to work out and stay together, you've both got to work for it. Good luck, stay rational, and I hope it works out for you.
