Yeah the collision was so hard the engine block was moved back a foot and 3". The battery is about 2 feet from where it should have been, the radiator was warped, all the body work around the impact point was shredded.

Look at the skidmarks and imagine it being night with police and emergency lights everywhere, the entire skid area liberally strewn with debris, your fiancee in an ambulance, and having to explain what some 18 year old asshat (who never even checked on us, *I* checked on *HIM* with a broken hand, hurt fiancee, and it was his fault!) did to about 3 different police officers... THEN riding to the hospital in an ambulance because your fiancee has significant extended abdominal bruising... THEN having to deal with the cops again for an official statement.

Afterwards the other driver would try and say that we did not have our headlights on... even though our grand am was equipped with daytime running lights... you cant operate the car without them on (day OR night)!

... Yeah, actually you do. Not only did we have daytime running lights but they were FACTORY INSTALLED daytime running lights so Pontiac even had it listed on the VIN listing AND it was already listed in the state farm insurance system as a feature on our car in the policy record
