The following is from a friend of mine, a former DEA agent. I have no way of verifying whether the information he relates is accurate:
"This is is one incident - there are about 4000 DEA personnel. I was told by my sources that the "agent" in question was actually a - local cop - that had been assigned to a DEA task force (but had been suspended prior to the incident) and was wearing a DEA shirt. DEA had no knowledge that he was giving any classes to anyone. DEA will not comment officially on the subject. I am the first to admit that the DEA is not perfect." There is more not relevant to this forum.
