Thank you Jeff and others!! I feel sooooo much more at ease. After spending 360 bones on this thing, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't defective.

I went thru the same thing when I first got mine - I looked at it inside - near a wall, and looked at the reticle. I was so disappointed compared to the one I had shot the week before outside.

I have to wear my stronger prescription glasses to have it look clear. But, when I take mine outside and use it to look at something at a distance - and U look at your target. It is crystal clear.

I have one & what I read is....it doesn't matter what part of the glass you see the holo through. Can't show you why it works, but it makes sense to me like this.

The holo is pointed like a laser at the target when you sight it in. This will not change no matter how you are looking through the glass. Therefor the holo tracks your aim point.

Try this. Set the rifle in a rest aimed at whatever. Move around behind it without moving the rifle. I think you'll see what I'm trying (poorly to be sure) to explain. No matter where you move, as long as you can see the holo, it will remain on target.
