upcomming 4th season of Battlestar Galactica will be the last.

"The upcoming fourth season of Sci Fi Channel's "Battlestar Galactica" will be its final one after all."

I kinda suspected it was headed that way. Season three started out with much promise but was a huge disappointment by the end. It had turned into "As the Battlestar Turns".

To me, what is killing the shows is the long breaks they take between "half" seasons. People just move on to other things and the momentum the shows have built is lost.

I did watch Pirate Masters last night. Vaguely interesting. The first person kicked off was a scientist/exotic dancer. They kicked him off even though he helped his team win and he took the only two compasses with him...

That show is still on TV?

I thought it went the way of the do do bird in the early 80s.

Can you tell I don't watch much network tv?

Well, I can offer one piece of advice to you Battlestar nuts out there: when Farscape (my personal favorite) met an untimely end after its fourth season, the fanbase went absolutely nuts and inundated the SciFi Channel with a massive letter and email campaign, and finally got a 4-hour miniseries made that wrapped up the loose ends (not very well, but it was better than nothing). If you like the show, organize and voice your support--you might just succeed in getting more episodes.
