I am going to have to get a digital camera some day!

My Volvos are not stock, clunkers - they have lots of mods. 16" German made Borbet wheels, Pirelli P-400s, Remus exhaust, IPD sway bars, Bilstein shocks, tinted windows, Bosch fog lights. The 240 is midnight blue, with all blacked out trim and dark tinted windows, too. No bag needed...trust me!

Ditto for my 99 Z-71 Silverado. Tons of mods, from exhast to wheels/tires, bedliner, toolbox, custom grille, tinted windows and shaving all the emblems off. My 99 Silverado has 109K miles on it and all I have done to it has been tires and an 02 sensor, for maintenance. You could hardly call a truck with that kind of track record a piece of crap. Again no bag needed...it looks real sharp in Corvette Victory Red!

Nice Ram Charger. The 318 was probably the best engine Chrysler ever made. My neighbor has a Ram Charger like yours...same color, too. I wouldn't give you a dime for a Durrango or new Ram p/u, but the old Ram Chargers, like the old full-size Blazers and Broncos were hell-for-stout and easy to work on and keep running. I had an 87 Bronco and it was a great vehicle, but they don't make SUVs like those anymore. They're just cars with big tires. The SUV craze is a joke...buy a sedan or buy a truck - there aren't any real good SUVs anymore. Maybe the Suburban, but thats it.

If I had a Saab, I'd be under the hood more often. Those are complete crap unreliable cars...not worth owning. Saabs look like roaches as well. Better be a brick than roach. They also do not have the safety ratings of any Volvo, so when the ditzy soccermoms in Houston ram me in their Expeditions, I would have to buy another Saab. Sad.

Always been a Chevy guy when it comes to trucks. Owned one Bronco, but the F-150 never appealed to me. Silverados have been great steeds - I have owned three.

Next time around, I am considering a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I really wish Jeep would consider putting that new turbodiesel in the Liberty, into the Wrangler. The low end torque would be great in a Jeep for pulling and off-roading and the better mileage would be appreciated, too. Glad to see Chrysler learning about diesels from their German owners.
