A few months ago I purchased a Galco IWB Stow N Go holster for my then carry gun, a Cobra FS380. Over time, I grew to love the holster, but hated the gun with a passion. I was fortunate to get my hands on a XD Subcompact 9mm and was able to sell off said Cobra. But now, my Subbie doesn't fit the holster. Woe is me.

So, what was my first thought about this?

Not "Well, I can sell the holster."

Not "My brother n law needs a new one for his Kahr. Maybe I'll give it to him."

No, it was...

"I need to buy another gun to fit this holster."

My wife is, well, amused by this.

Be thankful that she is amused. Then try making the mistake of buying another gun when you go looking for holsters. Maybe you'll get lucky and she will remain amused. If so, repeat, repeat, repeat!!!!!!!

trouble is...the next one I'm thinking of getting is a Remington 870 shotgun. Not sure if I can pull that one off

You know you're really addicted when you purchase boxes of ammo from your friends in calibers you don't even own on the grounds you might buy something to shoot it with someday.

Oh MAN has that happened to me!! The aforementioned Cobra was a .380. I have a box of of Federal Hydra-shok PD ammo that my bro-in-law wants, but I won't part with yet. Note that BOTH of us have nary a .380 semi auto between us, but you never know when we might, you know, get one

Noise, if you don't really care for your brother-in-law that much, you might want to give him those Hydra-shok since it is outdated ammo and doesn't perform as well as some of their newer ammo.

.

That way, you can go out and purchase some more up to date, better performing ammo that you will need when you purchase that .380 in the future.

Or try buying a case of ammo that was a 'good price' even though you don't have anything in that caliber... and explain, "I was gonna get a gun in that caliber anyway."
